Ex-TESTAMENT/FORBIDDEN Guitarist GLEN ALVELAIS Relaunching BIZARRO Project

November 19, 2010

San Francisco, California-based guitarist Glen Alvelais (LD/50, TESTAMENT, FORBIDDEN) has issued the following update:

"LD/50 has finished playing a handful of shows in both California and Nevada. The response from the people that seen us was very positive. This is just the beginning for LD/50 and we are now planning our next assault of shows which we are planning on playing out live in late January and into February.

"While we are waiting for shows to be booked my drummer Tony Providence and I have decided that now is the time to focus on my longtime project BIZARRO. This time I am singing and playing guitar. We have a bass player in mind and will be announcing that very shortly but right now we are seeking a guitarist that can both shred and play rhythm guitar. Must be ready to learn songs and rehearse right away. We do not have a lot of time to sit with individuals and show them every note, [so] we're hoping that someone will show up with their 'A' game so we can move right into full rehearsal. Some of the songs can be heard [in the ReverbNation TuneWidget below].

"For more information, please write to [email protected]. Be prepared to send MP3s and video of yourself shredding! If you're able to learn the four songs on ReverbNation, that is a plus.

"I look forward to hearing some new guitar players."
